Canvas USA®
Effective Date: November 19, 2025, ver18
Canvas USA® ships orders within the United States. This Shipping Policy explains processing times, shipping methods, freight terms, free freight offers, local delivery terms, and customer responsibilities.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1) Processing Time
Canvas USA® processes orders as quickly as possible after payment clears. Shipping timelines vary because many Canvas USA® products are manufactured to order, and production time depends on the current workload.
Estimated ship dates (when provided) are estimates only and may change based on:
- Production load and scheduling
- Material availability
- Product complexity or custom fabrication
- Quality control requirements
- Freight scheduling needs
If an order requires additional production time, we will contact the customer using the email or phone number provided at checkout.
Do not schedule labor, installation, or jobsite time based on estimated delivery dates.
2) Product Sizes and Shipping Costs
Canvas USA® offers many products in different sizes, weights, and packaging requirements. Because of this, shipping costs are not one-size-fits-all.
Shipping charges may vary based on:
- Dimensions and weight
- Packaging and protection are needed for safe delivery.
- Whether the item ships by parcel or freight (LTL)
- Delivery location and access requirements (residential, commercial, liftgate, etc.)
Larger or heavier items typically cost more to ship.
3) Shipping Charges Are Product-Based (Not Flat Rate)
Shipping charges are determined by the product(s) ordered — not by order total.
Some products require oversized handling or freight shipping and may require special packaging. Shipping costs vary based on product requirements and delivery conditions.
Canvas USA® reserves the right to:
- Select the most appropriate carrier and shipping method.
- Adjust shipping charges when required for oversized, heavy, or freight-required items.
- Hold the order until the customer approves and pays for any required shipping adjustment.
Orders requiring shipping adjustments will not ship until the customer approves the final shipping charges.
4) Free Freight Offers (Select Products Only)
Canvas USA® offers free freight on select products and select orders. Free freight is not offered on all products.
Any product or order eligible for free freight will be clearly identified on the website and/or product listing. If free freight is not shown on the product listing or during checkout, the order does not qualify.
Free freight may not include:
- Expedited shipping services
- Accessorial charges such as liftgate, limited access delivery, inside delivery, appointment delivery, or re-delivery fees
- Special handling, packaging, or custom crating when required
If additional services are requested or required, the customer is responsible for any additional carrier charges.
5) Local Delivery (Available in Select Areas)
Canvas USA® offers local delivery in select markets. Local delivery is not available in all areas and depends on:
- Delivery location and distance
- Product size, weight, and handling requirements
- Delivery access requirements
- Current delivery route availability
When local delivery is available, it will be presented as a delivery option at checkout or clearly identified on the applicable product listing.
In certain local markets, a free freight offer may mean free local delivery instead of a carrier freight shipment. These offers will be clearly identified on the product listing.
Local delivery timeframes are estimates and depend on location, distance, product requirements, and route scheduling.
6) Fulfillment Location Determined by Product (Locations Not Disclosed)
Canvas USA® fulfills orders based on product type, size, inventory availability, and shipping requirements. Fulfillment location and carrier selection are determined by the product(s) ordered.
Items from the same order may ship from different fulfillment locations and may arrive in separate packages. Fulfillment locations are not disclosed.
7) Motor Freight Shipping (LTL) – Quoted by Location
Some products require motor freight (LTL) shipping due to size, weight, or handling requirements. Motor freight charges are quoted based on the delivery location and shipment requirements.
When motor freight is required, the customer is responsible for paying:
- The price of the product(s), and
- The motor freight shipping charge
Freight shipping is a separate charge and is not included in product pricing unless clearly stated.
Both the product price and freight charge are due at the time the order is placed (or prior to shipment if freight approval is required). Freight orders will not ship until freight charges are confirmed and paid.
8) Motor Freight Terminal Pickup (Lower Cost Option)
For motor freight (LTL) shipments, customers may choose terminal pickup instead of residential or business delivery when available.
Terminal pickup can reduce shipping costs by avoiding residential delivery fees, liftgate fees, and other accessorial charges.
If terminal pickup is selected:
- The shipment will be held at the carrier’s local terminal near the delivery ZIP code.
- The customer is responsible for picking up the shipment within the carrier’s pickup window.
- The customer must bring valid identification and any required pickup documentation.
- Storage fees may apply if the shipment is not picked up on time.
- The customer is responsible for having the vehicle and equipment needed to load and secure the shipment.
Canvas USA® is not responsible for carrier storage fees, missed pickups, or delays caused by failure to pick up the shipment on time.
9) Freight Shipping Disclosure (Customer Acknowledgment)
Freight shipping required. Freight costs are quoted based on delivery location and shipment requirements. The customer pays the product price and freight at the time of order. Terminal pickup may be available as a lower-cost option. Customer is responsible for pickup and any storage fees for late pickup.
In select local markets, free freight may be offered as local delivery when noted on the product listing.
10) Freight Confirmation and Adjustments
Freight shipping charges are based on the delivery location and shipment requirements, including residential delivery, liftgate service, limited-access locations, and carrier fuel or accessorial fees.
For orders that require motor freight (LTL), the shipping amount shown at checkout may be a preliminary calculation and may require confirmation before shipment. If confirmation is required:
- Canvas USA® will provide the final freight charge for approval.
- The customer must approve and pay the confirmed freight charge before shipment.
- If the confirmed freight charge is not approved, the order will not ship and may be cancelled and refunded (excluding non-refundable fees where applicable).
No freight shipment is made until the customer confirms the freight charges in writing and payment is received.
11) Carriers and Shipping Methods
We ship using:
- Freight carriers (LTL) for oversized/pallet shipments
- UPS / FedEx / USPS for parcel shipments when applicable
- Local delivery in select markets where available
Carrier selection is based on product requirements and delivery conditions.
12) Delivery Times Are Estimates Only
Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Transit times may be affected by:
- Carrier delays
- Weather
- Holidays
- Freight scheduling availability
- Local delivery route availability
- Incorrect or incomplete address information
Canvas USA® is not responsible for carrier delays once a shipment is accepted by the carrier.
13) Residential Delivery, Liftgate, and Accessorial Fees
Freight carriers may apply accessorial fees for:
- Residential delivery
- Liftgate service
- Limited access locations
- Re-delivery attempts
- Appointment requirements
- Remote area fees
These charges are based on the delivery location and the carrier's requirements. If accessorial fees apply and were not captured at checkout, Canvas USA® may require payment prior to shipment.
14) Freight Delivery Inspection and Damage Claims
For freight deliveries, damage claims depend on what is documented at the time of delivery.
The customer must inspect the shipment before signing.
If damage is visible:
- Take photos immediately
- Note damage on the delivery receipt (BOL) before signing.
- Refuse the shipment if it is severely damaged.
-
Contact Canvas USA® within 48 hours with the order number and photos.
If the customer signs for the shipment without noting damage, the carrier may deny the claim.
15) Motor Freight Payment and Damage Claims
For certain motor freight (LTL) shipments, the customer may be required to pay freight charges directly to the motor freight carrier at the time of shipment or delivery, depending on carrier billing terms. If a direct-to-carrier payment is required, Canvas USA® will notify you before shipment.
Canvas USA® can assist with freight quotes and shipping arrangements. When available and appropriate, shipping insurance may be included in the freight quote or offered as part of the shipment terms. Any insurance coverage is subject to the carrier’s and/or insurer’s terms, conditions, and limits.
All freight shipments must be inspected at delivery. The customer is responsible for:
- Inspecting the shipment before signing for delivery
- Noting any visible damage on the delivery receipt (BOL) before signing
- Taking clear photos of the product and packaging at delivery
- Reporting damage to Canvas USA® within 48 hours of delivery
Damage claims are handled through the freight carrier and any applicable insurance coverage. Canvas USA® will assist the customer with documentation and the claims process; however, claim approval and resolution depend on the carrier and insurer and are governed by applicable federal and state law.
16) Incorrect Address / Undeliverable Shipments
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and correct shipping address.
If an order is returned due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address:
- The customer is responsible for all return and re-delivery charges.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
- Refunds (if any) will be issued only after the product is returned and inspected.
Address changes are not guaranteed once the order has been processed or shipped.
17) Lost or Missing Shipments
If tracking shows “Delivered” but the customer did not receive the shipment:
- Check the delivery area and confirm the address.
- Contact the carrier immediately.
If the issue remains unresolved, the customer must contact Canvas USA® within 7 days of the delivery scan.
Canvas USA® is not responsible for theft after confirmed delivery.
18) Refused Shipments / Missed Freight Appointments
If a freight shipment is refused, returned, or delivery fails due to missed appointments, no one available to receive it, or customer refusal:
- The customer is responsible for the incurred freight costs.
- The customer may also be responsible for return freight and restocking fees (if applicable)
19) International Shipping
At this time, Canvas USA® ships only within the United States.
20) Legal Compliance
Canvas USA® complies with all applicable federal laws and the laws of the State of Texas governing shipping, freight delivery, and consumer transactions.
If any part of this Shipping Policy conflicts with applicable law, the law controls, and the remaining policy remains in effect.
